Diversified Chiropractor

Claire Heeley – MChiro

General Chiropractic Council Reg No 05176

Claire was born in the U.S. and moved to France at a young age. In 2015 she moved from a rural town in France to the Isle of Wight and shortly after started her studies in Bournemouth to become a Chiropractor.  On her days off you can often find Claire with her horse Bandit – she’s had him for nearly a year now and have been on a couple adventures with him including the Tennyson trail in the South Wight and riding near Osborne House.

Claire can speak fluent French, and actually has a high school diploma in France. She took ancient Greek in high school, where she learned to translate ancient texts and also got to visit Greece and Crete. Claire has also ridden Spanish horses in Spain.

Claire became interested in Chiropractic after observing the benefits of Chiropractic treatment on horses. It lead her to apply for the five-year course at the AECC University College in Bournemouth where she graduated with a first. While Claire was in training she did courses in Sports Taping and Sports Massage which she found hugely beneficial in adjunct to Chiropractic care. Since graduating she has also trained in Dry needling, which Claire uses with standard Chiropractic treatments to help with muscle knots, pain, and muscle tightness.

Claire has felt the benefits of Chiropractic treatment first hand because she developed neck pain with chronic headaches during her studies from spending hours revising over her desk. Now headaches are one of the things Claire enjoys treating the most as she knows how effective the treatment is!
