Philippa originally trained as a Sports Therapist and qualified with a BSc honours in sports science and sports therapy in 1999. After a number of years working and lecturing in sports therapy Philippa decided to take her passion a step further and train as a McTimoney chiropractor. Philippa graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic with a BSc honours in January 2010.
Philippa had suffered with back pain after an accident aged 8. She first experienced McTimoney chiropractic treatment aged 15 after many years of pain and noticed a transformation immediately. A keen ballet dancer, she was able to continue dancing competitively until the age of 18. Regular McTimoney chiropractic treatment over the years has allowed her continue to participate in various hobbies including playing rugby, teaching dance and 3 years in the territorial army.
Philippa enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. As a result of her own experience she has a keen interest in rugby and dance related injuries. She is enjoying working as part of the Cowes Chiropractic team to further develop her skills.
In her spare time Philippa enjoys spending time with her young sons, Sebastian and Alexander and new baby daughter Isobel. She is also an active member of a Miiltary Wives Choir and hopes in the not too distant future, to participate in the Great South run and to learn to sail with her children.
