What We Can Help With

HOW WE CAN HELP

Support for the way you move and feel

From everyday aches and stiffness to injuries and mobility concerns, our team can assess what may be contributing to your symptoms and help you understand the next steps.

Back Pain

Back pain can affect everyday movement, work, sleep and exercise. It can develop gradually over time or follow a period of strain, injury or changes in activity.

Symptoms can vary from stiffness and a persistent ache to sharper discomfort or reduced confidence when moving. Our team can assess how you are moving and explore factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.

You may notice
  • Stiffness or reduced movement
  • Discomfort when sitting, standing or bending
  • Pain during exercise or everyday activities

Neck Pain & Stiffness

Neck pain and stiffness can develop gradually or follow periods of prolonged posture, repetitive movement, strain or injury. It can sometimes make turning your head or carrying out everyday tasks uncomfortable.

An assessment can help us understand how your neck and surrounding areas are moving and identify factors that may be contributing to discomfort or restricted movement.

You may notice
  • Difficulty turning or tilting your head
  • Stiffness through the neck and shoulders
  • Discomfort after sitting or working for long periods

Sciatica & Nerve Pain

Sciatica and other nerve-related symptoms can sometimes cause pain, tingling, numbness or altered sensation that travels from the lower back or buttock into the leg.

Because these symptoms can have different causes, a careful assessment is important. We can look at your movement, symptoms and day-to-day activities to help understand what may be contributing.

You may notice
  • Pain travelling into the buttock or leg
  • Tingling, pins and needles or numbness
  • Symptoms that change with particular movements or positions

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder discomfort can affect reaching, lifting, dressing, sleeping and exercise. Symptoms may develop gradually through repetitive activity or appear following an injury.

We can assess how your shoulder and surrounding areas are moving, helping to identify factors that may be affecting comfort, strength and mobility.

You may notice
  • Pain when lifting or reaching
  • Reduced movement or stiffness
  • Discomfort when lying on the affected side

Hip & Knee Pain

Hip and knee discomfort can affect walking, stairs, exercise and everyday activities. Changes in strength, mobility, activity levels or previous injuries can all influence the way these areas feel.

We can assess how the joints and surrounding muscles are working together and explore ways to support more comfortable and confident movement.

You may notice
  • Discomfort when walking or using stairs
  • Stiffness after sitting or resting
  • Difficulty with exercise or weight-bearing activities

Foot & Ankle Pain

Foot and ankle discomfort can follow an injury, build up through repeated activity or develop alongside changes in the way you walk and move.

An assessment can look at mobility, stability and how the foot and ankle are functioning as part of your overall movement.

You may notice
  • Pain or stiffness when walking
  • Reduced ankle movement or stability
  • Discomfort during exercise or after increased activity

Sports Injuries

Sports injuries can range from minor strains and sprains to persistent aches that affect training, performance or confidence. They may occur suddenly or build up gradually through repeated load.

We can assess the affected area as well as the movement demands of your activity, helping you understand what may be contributing and supporting a gradual return to exercise.

You may notice
  • Pain during or after exercise
  • Reduced strength, movement or confidence
  • Recurring discomfort when returning to activity

Muscle Strains & Sprains

Strains and sprains can occur during sport, exercise or everyday activity and may affect muscles, tendons or ligaments. Symptoms can range from mild discomfort to reduced movement and function.

We can assess the affected area and how it is responding to movement, helping to support recovery and a gradual return to your usual activities.

You may notice
  • Tenderness or discomfort around the affected area
  • Reduced movement or strength
  • Pain when returning to normal activity

Joint Pain & Stiffness

Joint pain and stiffness can affect everyday movement and make previously comfortable activities feel more difficult. Symptoms may relate to activity, previous injuries, reduced mobility or general changes over time.

We can assess how the affected joint and surrounding areas are functioning and explore ways to improve mobility and confidence in movement.

You may notice
  • Stiffness after resting
  • Reduced range of movement
  • Discomfort during everyday activities

Headaches & Neck Tension

Some headaches can occur alongside tension, stiffness or restricted movement around the neck, shoulders and upper back. Long periods at a desk or repetitive postures may also contribute for some people.

We can assess these areas and explore whether musculoskeletal factors may be associated with the symptoms you are experiencing.

You may notice
  • Tension through the neck or shoulders
  • Headaches alongside neck stiffness
  • Symptoms after prolonged sitting or screen use

Posture & Movement

Long periods of sitting, repetitive tasks or changes in activity can sometimes leave the body feeling stiff or uncomfortable. Rather than focusing on one ‘perfect’ posture, we look at how you move throughout your day.

We can assess movement, mobility and everyday habits and help you find practical ways to feel more comfortable and confident in your activities.

You may notice
  • Stiffness after sitting for long periods
  • Recurring tension during work or daily tasks
  • Difficulty moving comfortably through certain positions

Injury Recovery & Rehabilitation

Recovery does not always end when the initial pain settles. Strength, mobility and confidence can sometimes take longer to return after an injury or period of reduced activity.

We can support your rehabilitation with a gradual approach focused on restoring movement and helping you return to the activities that matter to you.

You may notice
  • Reduced strength or mobility after injury
  • Loss of confidence in certain movements
  • Difficulty returning to sport or everyday activity
